Affirming Life in Water

The pandemic has been a rather difficult time so I shared this on my Instagram account on 6.23.20 but I still find it to be a rather helpful tip.

Instead of dropping beneficial habits, modify them to make them easier to fit into our current lives and reinstate them to their former glory, or better, when conditions ease themselves.

Most people shower with some level of frequency and all we're going to do here is ritualize that in a relatively low effort manner.

Materials:

1 sheet protector (optional)

1-2 sets of affirmations

shower/bath

Steps:

  1. get a set of affirmations that fit your current needs
  2. place it in a sheet protector (or don't, if you're confident it wont get too wet)
  3. tape it to the bathroom wall
  4. wash up while speaking the affirmations over yourself. visualize the what you look like as soon as those affirmations come into being. wash the old away, invite the new to pour in and over you just like the water.
  5. get out if you're done. or enjoy the water.
  6. turn off the water and know that you're better than you were when you stepped in
