Lavender & Accomplishment

The only thing that can steal the joy of accomplishment is the spirit of comparison.

People are people; they will comment on anything and everything without having ever walked a day in your shoes.

Maybe you did something grand, maybe something you've never done before. Maybe its not-so-grand, maybe it's something you have done before. Perhaps it was as simple as brushing your teeth, tying your shoes, or getting out of the door on time.

Either way, it is up to you to determine what is and is not an accomplishment. Remove the element of comparison, be it to others or to yourself.

do not be bogged down by the abilities of the past,

nor

the potentials of the future,

did you make it today?

that is all that matters.
