Magnolia & Hesitancy

Late 2021, I sat before Magnolia. And again in Late 2022. Perhaps there will be more to come this year.

The first lesson was in learning to enjoy life, embracing freedom… it's acceptance meaning resigning control, feeling the release of responsibility…

The second lesson was related, this is a reminder.

A reminder that Magnolia knows suffering and she knows it well.

A mother's unyielding screams.

A father's stoic weeping.

Shielding young eyes from horror.

And she knows it so well that she beckons us to accept the offering of peace while we experience the reminder of and commitment to eternal life beyond this place.

She extends a hand, inviting release as she remembers for you, that the transition means eternal life, as opposed to the eternal death that is truly an inevitable part of the world.

The hesitancy to leave, remaining in eternal death feels like… giving up, feels like… forgetting.

"Eternal life," she whispers.

"Eternal life calls for you, everyone should met her one day."

It isn't giving up. It isn't forgetting. It's embracing.

Choosing life isn't not grieving. It's accepting an inevitable beckon to take good care of all the time you have. To know her is to know peace.

Fin.

Blessings,
