Thyme & Personal Development

Thyme has been a regular function of Spirit for me for as long as I can remember and there has not been a time where the messages provided were unclear. Thyme can be poetic but direct at the same time, there is no misunderstanding. Thyme is interested in personal development and the way the spirit appears emphasizes this quality; a quality we're getting a lot of in this session.

  1. Warmth is what makes a house a home.

A sentiment so often heard but not minded. Thyme enjoys simple questions but not easily answered ones. Today, Thyme asks, "what is the source of your warmth?"

Thyme knows the answer is not what it should be but is kind and willing, "You should always be home to yourself; seek from within instead of through external methods.

2. Ultimately it is you who is the creator and manager of your internal world. Consider not only what you want to do but what you need to do for yourself and commit to it.

This is but the natural consequence of the first assertion. Finding home within yourself means to accept that you have control over your internal processes and it is your place to mediate between it and the outside world. Thyme does not support choosing stagnation but also holds that one must accept responsibility for the things that can be changed.

3. Do not let yourself be so distracted with the things of this world. You will fall in such a way that this brokenness cannot be fixed. It does not mean do not mind the manners and elements of this world but it is, not usually, your primary concern. What progress did you come to make?

4. Medicine is bitter; you are an adult, deal with it.

I cannot get more clarification for this one than the last. It was said and it was meant but this ones is very important to Thyme this season. It was repeated and repeated until I finally wrote it down. Thyme is kind but not necessarily tolerant of whiny behavior, especially when one should know better than to complain.

5. Embrace childhood joy, they keep the spirit.

This one, I personally encourage you to take in and sit with. It seems like an unfinished sentence; Thyme finished her part of the sentence, it's left to you to complete the sentence.

She also leaves us with one more mysterie to discover, peace is an internal process as well. Memory of this will ease aches.

Blessings,
